Music in My Life

I don't know how to explain this but when I was child, I used to listen to Barney's songs or the songs of Cachueros (a chilean child show that used to show on the TV many years ago), I really liked these songs, and i didn't listened any other songs on these days.

But one day my parents gave to my sister the Guitar Hero Aerosmith videogame, (wich is a rithym game where you use a fake guitar to simulate a real one by playing songs of Aerosmith on the game) and it blew my mind, I didn't like it at the beginning but with the time it started to like more the songs (now I know almost all the songs of that group).Nowdays one of my favourite bands would it be AC/DC wich is a Hard Rock band that is AWESOME, i like so much this band because his songs transmit such power and energy that It impssible to me to not headbang into the rithym of the song

 Since then I liked to listen to Rock and his variations (like Hard Rock, Alternative Rock, Grunge, Punk Rock, etc...), also i like all types of music, obviously i like some more than others,

like Andean music (or music of the mountains of The Andes, like Illapu), Folk Music, some metal bands and a little bit of Pop music (just a little bit).

Your favourite piece of technology

The "Flappy" disk

My favourite piece of technology would it be the Personal Computer (PC), because you can find almost all the knowledge of the humanity or being conected with your friends, even you can play videogames to have fun. My first PC was very old, i remember it used diskette drives (the people used to call it "flappy disk") to save the files of work (like the mp3´s but with lower capacity), so the only use i gave to my old PC was playing games in the internet pages, ALL day, every day of the year. Also I liked to search information of dinosaurs and things like that 'cause i really like these themes when i was younger. Nowdays I have a good notebook wich i use to watch videos, seek information, chat with my childhood friends arround the country and to play videogames, so I'm pretty happy to have one.

Prehistoric PC

I don't know what would be my present without that old PC, so I'm very grateful for the people to helped to create this machine, and to my parents who brought it, if we haven't created the PC we might never had the internet or worse, we might never had Wikipedia... And the life as we know would it be very "dark"

Getting to know each other

 I'm Alonso Jorquera, the younger brother of my family, i have an older sister and my parent's are happily married, i have two dogs, now there i live in santiago i have a chinchilla, named Kali and It's VERY cute.

 I was born in Chuquicamata, near the city of Calama on August 26th of 1998. I lived in Chuquicamata since i was born, when the camp closed, (i was about seven years old) I've move to Calama, since then i studied in Colegio Chuquicamata. I always have been very shy and i don't like to talk very much, because of that It's very difficult to me to making friends in my childhood and in the present sideways, when i wasn't studying i was playing lots of old video-games in the PC of my dad, since then I've been playing all my life with my friends or my sister, my other hobbies would it be to learn the prehistoric period, and the technology in general. I really loved the place where i live, not so many people understand why i like to live in the middle of a desert, without any kind of trees or wildlife, or the total emptiness of everything , but for me that's the magic of the desert.

About a month ago I've move to Santiago to study pharmacy, It's been difficult to me to adapt to the rhythm of a big city and to meet new people, but i have hope that i will be fine, sort of...
